UPCOMING EVENTS
Important Notice for Members re Access to the Club on Thursday 7 May 2026.
Members need to be aware that on the above date the Club is once again being used as a Polling Station and restricted access to the Club will apply between the hours of 7am and 10pm. The green and surrounds will be open throughout the day.
To ensure you have access to your bowls and any personal kit however these must be placed in the visitors’ changing room before the above day.
On Polling Day access will be allowed only to the visitors’ changing room and to retrieve the key to the mats and jacks store.
I will arrange with voting officials for access to the bar in the evening, if required – access only via the uPVC double doors. Please note that both Ladies and Gents toilet facilities will also be available to election officials and voters.
When visiting the Club on that day you are reminded that it is being used for official purposes of local importance and the expectation is that you will conduct yourself appropriately. This includes respecting the privacy of voters and being mindful of noise levels on the green, green surrounds, when accessing the visitors’ changing room and especially when using the bar area.
Your co-operation is required and appreciated.
